Our first born child turned 9 on July 27, 2015. We had a small party for him at our house. Grandpa George came. Luke loved all his presents but was especially excited about getting his very own tablet.
Here is a little update on Luke:

Do you want to get married someday? "Yes"
What kind of girls do you think are cute? "Mom I'm nine I don't think about that".
Do like having lots of brothers and sisters? "yeah"
Why? "So I don't have to wash the dishes every single time"
Do you like going to school? "I like the end of school basically".
If you could pick anyone in the world to spend a day with who would it be? "A family member"
If you could spend a day doing anything you wanted what would it be? "Playing games".
What do you think is the best thing about you? "playing checkers or monopoly" (he did not want to answer this question)
I his mother think Luke is good at a lot of things. This year he has started to remind me so much of James. He is brilliant, kind, generous, loving and sweet. He still loves to snuggle which is getting difficult cause he is getting so big. He loves hanging out with friends and family. He makes good choices. He is a important part of our family.
