Happy 30th Birthday to Sara and ect.

I always tease James that he is the worst at surprises because he always plans surprises and then tells me about them before they happen. Well he has redeemed himself. For my birthday he surprised me by flying my sister out from Ohio. I havent seen her in 2 years. He was so slick about it. He came home from work the weekend before my birthday and said "Lets go for a walk". We went to the park and when we got there a group of people were at a pavilion but I still didnt catch on till James started walking over to them. He had been planning this for 2 months. I started crying when I saw my sister it was so sweet to spend the weekend with her.

my 30th birthday party (left to right) Mario, Heather, Mom Cherie, Me, Grandma Joann, Michelle, Dad George, Rebecca, Steven and James

Heather (James sister) invited us to there school carnival. It was a lot of fun, minus the part where we lost Royce for like 5 minutes. He is way to independent for his own good. When I finally found him by a bounce house he was completely unconcerned with where we were and more concerned about getting in the bounce house.

We went on an outing with Joe (James brother) and some cousin up in Sundance Canyon. We checked out a resort up there which was awesome. The kids had some fun playing on the statues

Handsome man

Some Sunday we like to go up to the bell tower at BYU and look for bugs and listen to the Bells. Here are the kids in some not so good lighting

Baby #5 is half cooked!

So we hit 20 weeks which means we are at the estimated halfway point for baby #5. This has been a mild pregnancy for me which I count as a huge blessing. Of course I was nauseous from 8 to 16 weeks but I wasnt hover over the toilet all day. My midwife gave me some prenatals I can take that don't make me sick they are from a whole food source. They are called Vitamin Code Raw Prenatals. Ever since I have started taking them my energy levels have been higher which is great! We are undecided on whether or not to find out the gender. My ultrasound is scheduled for next Monday so I guess we will decide my then.

Sweet Royce

After church one day James went up to Royce who was playing  on the floor and told him "Its time to go take a nap" Royce responded with "Go lay down"?  As James picked him up he said "Yes, go lay down". Royce looked over at me with a huge grin on his face and said "I'm so happy"! as he rested his head on James shoulder. Royce is at a fun age where he says the silliest things all the time. He is constantly making us smile and laugh.

Luke Funny

I got this email from James this morning after he took Luke to school. Lol

Hi honey,

So Luke was mad at me about something and cranky about not being able to put his left shoe on…He showed me that he had  long sock on underneath a orange sock…so I told him to take it off and just wear the orange sock…then he complained that the sock was bigger than the other sock (on his right foot)…and I said that’s ok—the shoe will hold it on.  So he started taking off the socks…first the orange sock, then the long sock, then a black sock, and on and on…he had like 5 socks on his left foot!

So funny…

Happy 1st Birthday Abrahm

Abrahm Jesse is indeed a bundle of joy and has been an immense blessing to our family this past year! We love him dearly and hope he has a wonderful first birthday.

Our little man has officially started walking although he still prefers to crawl. He loves to wrestle (especailly with the boys) and be silly and he has a very pleasant disposition unless of course he is hungry. He still loves to nurse but is slowly getting used to using a bottle and sippy cup. He has started talking but it mostly sounds like gibberish, last night when James walked in the door from work Abrahm raised his hand, waved, and said something that sounded a lot like "Hi Dad". Abrahm has his work cut out for him keeping up with his big brother Royce. They love each other tenderly but Royce is very aware that he is bigger and stronger and usually can get his way, Abrahm is very patient with toys and other desirables being taken away on a whim. One of his favorite places to be is on Mom and Dads bed with all the pillow where he dives and burrows himself over and over again with cries of glee. He loves to snuggle and be held, he has a very tender sweet spirit, if he sees others in distress he gets concerned and you can tell this by his face. We love you Abrahm, thanks for being our little boy!

Jet Skiing

We went Jet skiing with Uncle Solomon and Aunt Sonya (James sister) Last weekend. The Fry family also joined us. We got out of there just as the massive storm hit.

August and Labor Day Happenings

We road our bikes 23 miles from our home in Provo up to Bridal Viel Falls and back. Luke(7) and my Mom (56) road with us. Very impressive! and good memories

Here we are at Bridal Viel falls

Another happy baby picture

After Church one Sunday Royce fell asleep at the table during lunch! So funny!

Royce's new favorite thing to do is read stories, he brings stories to James, Luke and me, and says "read to me" if one of us is busy he just rotates through us over and over again till he find someone to read to him. So cute!

This is where I had my bridal pictures taken
(its accross the street from the Dinosuar Museum)

Lukes first day at his once a week charter. We are still homeschooling but once Week he goes to school all day for options day. He does all electives so the classes he is taking are piano, tumbling, lego robotic, art, cooking and one more but I cant remember what it is.

Luke's 7th birthday!

We had a little birthday party for Luke at the park. He was so pleased and he got a new mountain bike (with gears) He totally earned it after doing a 11 mile bike ride in California.
He is such a good big brother and a wonderful oldest son. He is very aware of his siblings and is willing and able to to help.

Funny quote of the year:

We were driving in the car and Luke was irritated at James and I and he say in a sassy tone

"You know I can't trust you guys with time"?

James and I looked at each other confused and I asked

"What do you mean"?

His response was

"Well sometimes I ask you what time it is? and you say 1:30 and its really 1:32! I just can't trust you"!

James and I looked at each other and tried really hard not to laugh.

Love you Luke.

July Happenings

My Mom, the Kids and I ran a 5k from the Provo temple to the new temple they are making from the tabernacle. Lots of fun we did lose Luke at one point but I eventually found him hanging out with a police man. Smart kid!
