Bella on the go

We were watching Conference down at James uncle Ron's condo when we found this cool little push toy and Bella showed us some new skills. It was a little bit of a shock because she is still just a little baby in my eyes, I can't believe she will be a walker soon (tear). Anyways enjoy this silly video clip.

On another note conference was awesome. We got to watch the first session completely uninterrupted (because the kids were napping). Its so nice to hear the wonderful messages our leaders have to help guide through the jungle of life. I get so scared sometimes at the thought of raising my kids in our day and age because there is so much temptation, and wickedness. It gives me sincere hope when I hear the talks during conference because even though it will be a lot of work and very trying at time, if we are good examples and strive to follow our gospel and heed to their guidance we can raise our kids to find true happiness in the principles of our church.

Oh the heartache of parenthood.

I can't believe it! She is so big and what a little mover!!

I loved this video. It's so good to hear all of your voices and it was fun to see my dad. It made me miss our good old times.

Happy birthday week for you guys, James' last week and yours in a couple days.

How sad that you and your family live in fear of the real world.

Is your marriage, your sense of family and motherhood so fragile that you hold your beliefs together only by voting to deny others the right to get married?

My husband and I are Christians living in the South. We don't feel that our marriage is threatened in any way by a couple of men or women getting married.

How sad that yours does. What a weak god you must worship. Our God didn't make any mistakes--- and all people were made in his image; including non-heterosexuals.

Your daughter is beautiful.

Someday she will grow up and fall in love. She will come to you one day and tell you that she wants to get married. At first it may come as a shock but, if the person she loves is a good person, you will begin to get excited. As the mother of the bride you may be asked to help plan the wedding.

When the day arrives you will watch as your glowing daughter cries while looking into the eyes of her beloved. Most likely you will cry too.

When your daughter's spouse commits to cherish and protect her through good times and bad you may cringe at the idea of the latter. But the joy of the day will swiftly wash away any negative thoughts. Besides you are certain she is loved and the her lover will do everything possible to ensure she is taken care of.

You may begin to think about your grandchildren. You might have heard that grandchildren are pure joy. Perhaps the idea of your daughter as the mother of a toddler will make you smile. You might wonder if the child will have it's mother's spark for life.

Unless you daughter is a Lesbian. Because if she is then you would have to see what life is like outside your current limited perspective. God often provides us lessons through our own experiences. Lessons that teach us to gain humility, banish pride, and most importantly to "Love your neighbor as yourself." Or better Love your neighbor as you love your baby girl. Think about the things you would want for her and then explain to God why you have voted to prevent a loving marriage for two of His children.

Matthew 7:1-2
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

John 8:7
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
