This has been an incredibly challenging week. The baby has a skin staph infection (impetigo) I recognized it immediately (because struggled with it) and we have taken her to the Drs. She is on antibiotic but it's so hot and humid that it seems to have just slowed it down not stopped it. ... We have all (except James) gotten dengue fever from the mesquito bites and Royce 14 has a scary cellulitis infection from a kitten bite he got two weeks ago. The health care is what you would expect for a third world country and it has me seriously concerned for the safety of my children. I have been on and off feverish for 5 days so I feel broken. Anyways to say the least I am so humbled and grateful for the USA and Rexburg. I never realized how much we have. It's not what I expected from this trip but I see God hand in it. There is so much beauty in the saints and people here that just trust God. I have the tendency to want to control everything.
