Shari's visit and Forth of July 2012

James sister Shari came to visit in June. It was tons of fun! We loved having them here. We went to the lake, the boys went to a Rangers game while we hit up the mall. The kids roamed nature finding a armadillo skeleton (so gross!) and we just enjoyed catching up with them  :)

For 4th of July we went to the parade in the morning and in the afternoon we had some friends over eating,  playing and getting a little wet. At the end of the evening we did fireworks which James was the commander over.

Happy Halloween

We had a really fun Halloween. Carving pumpkins, listening to Halloween music, burning pumpkin seeds, trunk or treating, playing games (Bella loved the cake walk and Luke's favorite was bobbing for doughnut on a string), and of course raiding the candy after children are asleep! Lol we are so sneaky, hehe.

He is still growing and sleeping great we love having his happy smiling face around

Moving update

We have signed a lease for a home in American Fork Utah. As of now we are planning on heading out that way Thanksgiving weekend. It has been a crazy busy month. James has been working A LOt. I have been super bust getting the house readying to rent out and packing up our stuff. The kids have been a little neglected but I think they will survive. The are hapay, healthy and well fed. Happy Halloween!

6 weeks

Abrahm had 2 first today. Last night he went to bed in his pack n play at 9 and I had to wake him up this Morning 7:45 to eat. It was nice to get uninterrupted sleep! He also had his first diaper blowout this morning, made it all the way to his shoulders lol.the poor little guy has been in quarantine this week. Roy has a cold and I think Bella is getting it so Brahms has mostly been isolated to the bedroom, poor baby.

Domestic training

I came in from outside earlier and Bella was in the middle of changing Brahms poopy diaper. I was so impressed with how well she did when Royce woke up from his nap wet, i bribed her with a sucker to change his to. Luke got in on the action and it was quite entertaining.

We are moving!

Our little sweet boy is so happy smiling and cooing. We even got our first giggle from him this week. He is apparently very ticklish under his neck :) he gets really excited when we play patty cake too.

Happy

5 weeks

Life is good with a big brother to love you. Brahm is growing well and is so sweet cooing and smiling all the time. He has only been waking up once a night the past few days but he snorts and grunts alot while sleeping which does keep me awake. He is a really an easy going baby he sleeps most of the day still. Waking up every 3 to 4 hours to eat, be cute and then it's time for another nap. He loves his swing and almost instantly falls asleep when we put him in it. I am doing good and enjoying having my energy levels return to normal! I am super busy but it's a good happy busy! The labor of love :)

Big boy bed for Royce

We are trying out the big boy bed for Roy. Little Abrahm is a loud sleeper so I am thinking we need to move him to the crib soon but I want to get Roy adjusted to sleeping on the bunk bed first. Let's hope it's a easy transition.

One month old

Brahm is one month old today! He is growing so fast, I moved him into size 2 diapers yesterday and his 0-3 mos clothes are getting tight. He is very smiley, and much more alert and cooing at us. He has decided that he really loves his swing which is where he spends a lot of time during the Day, he also loves, loves, loves Bella, and she him. He lights up when he sees her and just smiles, coo's and stares at her. I frequently find Bella by him, singing him songs, touching his soft head and giving him her full attention. Roy still adores him too but luckily his obsession is dying down. Royce does however like to randomly walk up and smack him in the face really hard, I'm not sure what its all about but I am guessing it has something to do with being shoved out of the nest. Brahm has been sleeping all night since we brought him home waking 2 or 3 times at night to eat. He fits in well with our family! We are so glad to have him.

Friday movie

I think I like movie night more than the kids do! Every Friday we try to do pizza and a movie. The kids don't really watch tv during the week so it makes it extra special. Tonight is our churches chili cookoff so the children got to watch a movie in the afternoon. I'm not sure why Luke is scowling, it was his idea to take the picture lol silly kid.
